December on the Loop is a funny mix of holiday magic and real life on the water... stringing lights on lifelines, squeezing gifts into lockers, celebrating Christmas at anchor or in a marina far from home.

However you marked the holidays this year, I just wanted to say: I’m really glad you’re here.

The Looping Families Book Club exists because life afloat is different. Learning looks different. Family rhythms are different. And the stories we read together (whether they’re about dolphins, railroads, or quiet moments on the water) help us slow down and notice where we are.

As we roll into the new year:

• No pressure to “keep up”
• No required reading pace
• No expectations beyond showing up when it works for your family

January will be our first members-only month, and I’m excited to keep this space small, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful for families cruising (or preparing to cruise) the Loop.

Wherever you are right now... Florida sunshine, a winter marina, or dreaming from shore... I’m glad you’re part of this community!
